Book your own private jewelry making party. This private workshop is a 3 hour event. It includes Materials to complete your project Use of all tools necessary Three hours of studio time and instruction from Taryn McCabe The listing starts at 5 people - with the option to add up to 3 additional people for a total of 8 participants total. There is an additional $100 per person beyond the included 5 people. In this class we will learn how to wire wrap a tear drop shaped bead (a briolette). We will make a pair of briolette earrings like the ones shown in the pictures. You will choose between an array of assorted gemstone briolettes, and combine them with simple metal blanks or jump rings or keep them solo. This is a great project for beginners to learn some wire wrapping skills. Author and designer, Taryn McCabe will show you the ins and outs of making your own wire wrapped briolette earrings. This class will cover how to wire wrap a briolette bead, polish metal blanks, texture metal with various hammers, create holes in metal, and how to make your own ear wires. The goal is everyone takes home their own finished piece. We will work with assorted metals -aluminum, brass, and copper along with sterling silver and 14K gold filled wire.
