I made these just as an excuse to play with the hair particle system. I just wanted to get this project done fast so I didn’t even bother rigging the arms and legs of the soots. I came up with a good solution, in which I used a skin modifier and subdiv modifier to control the legs. you could say I could have used curves but getting round caps is still a difficult thing in blender.
