Some important information about our no-water-needed transfer papers you surely don't want to miss: This is a single-use product, but if you are happy with more subdued color results, it can be used again. The resulting colors on polymer clay might be more muted than on the paper itself. The resulting clay pieces don't have to be but are recommended to be sealed. If you are selling it and want to make it foolproof, you can use UV resin or your favorite varnish, like Varathane Matte. Very long baking makes the colors more subdued. With Sculpey, Sculpey Liquid Clay has to be mixed with the clay to make the surface sticky. Alternatively, a very thin layer of Clear Liquid clay can be applied on the surface of the clay slab before the paper is laid. How to use our transfer papers? It's very simple: It is recommended to cut out a small corner and try it first on a small piece of clay before proceeding to use the whole paper. Use it on white or light-colored clay for the best results. For the use with Sculpey Premo and Souffle, see the *text down below. Cut out a piece of transfer paper, and place the printed image face down onto the prepared slab. Tap the paper with your fingers, while making sure all the paper is in contact with your polymer clay. Leave the paper on the clay for 30 to 60 minutes , and go do something fun. :) Then you can remove the transfer paper. The paper will be sticky, and it can be discarded. If you think you would be happy with less saturated, lighter results, you can apply it on another clay slab right away. After the image is transferred, be careful not to touch the surface, as the ink can still smudge at this stage. Cut and bake your clay as usual. But don't touch the surface. * If you use your transfer paper on Sculpey (Premo or Souffle), it's important to make the surface tacky by mixing Liquid Sculpey, or clay softener in your clay (mixing is the recommended method), or spreading a VERY thin layer of Clear Liquid Sculpey on the clay slab before the transfer paper is applied.
