Additives such as coloring, fragrance oils or essential oils can be added to this material to create a unique finished product. Soy wax burns cleaner since it is a natural oil product versus the standard paraffin wax that is a petroleum byproduct which has been proven to emit toxins into the environment. Some people have experienced headaches or other side effects from burning paraffin candles.
