Do panel lines naturally “degrade” or evaporate over time? I built this about a year ago and panel lined it with Gundam markers but without top coating. I avoid touching this kit

Everyone rips on using sharpies but- panel line with a sharpie, and then sand down the part, the line becomes thinner then, and if you have a larger kit it may accentuate

Are these markers and panel line color safe to use on the Moonlight Judge or will it make the plastic crack? : r/Gunpla
