Celebrations planned for centennial of MIT's river crossing
To celebrate 100 years since MIT’s 1916 move from Boston to Cambridge, Massachusetts, the Institute is planning a series of public events, culminating in a grand parade across the Charles River, and an Open House at which thousands of visitors are expected to explore the campus.
