Tried to airbrush a zenithal highlight, but primer was too wet

First attempt at Zenithal priming, used a cheaper generic white spray over citadel primer, does it look right? The white also feels slightly raised. Any suggestions? : r/minipainting

I think I applied the stain too thick when on the body/neck of my bass kit. Will sanding it down help? The surface is smooth, just sticky. : r/Luthier
