Yasutomo Sumi Ink is thick and dark, and it dries to a satin sheen. It is water-resistant but not waterproof, so if you'd like to use it with watercolor, we recommend doing your inked lines last, after the page is dry. Made with lamp black pigment, sumi ink is naturally lightfast and will never fade.
