Place it at the same level that you're knitting or crocheting at, it delivers a smooth and constant feed of yarn which means theres no stopping to pull more yarn or undo clumps pulled from the middle, it results in an evenly knitted or crocheted garment in less time than you normally takes you. It can be used on the over head branch, sat on the base or can be removed so more spindles can be used (ordered separately).
