This listing is for 1 (one) yard of vintage French velvet in a gorgeous, elephant gray and is 1 1/2" wide. This is a gorgeous ribbon from the 1930's made of pure rayon with a satin taffeta back. The ribbon is buttery soft both in drape and the velour itself. I have a number of velvet's from this time period and they are rare, especially in this condition. Perfect for trim on clothing, as choker jewelry velvet or for any sewing project, as it's made of pure rayon and is taffeta backed, very soft and lies beautifully. In perfect, unused vintage condition. We have just 40 yards of the ribbon available. My pictures show the ribbon on the bolt and a closeup of this gorgeous ribbon.

The edges are handrolled and it is in wonderful vintage condition. The scarf perimeter is lined with red, and the background of the middle is black. The elephant shape is made out of a beautiful gray floral pattern. The designer marking is located in the right-hand bottom corner. The made-in tag is still attached to the scarf and states 100% silk made in Italy.
