Acid-Free Buffered TISSUE PAPER: 20" X 30" Sheets Wrap and protect important documents and textiles using acid-free tissue paper sheets. Designed to provide long-term protection, this tissue paper has been buffered to an alkaline pH and will not deteriorate over time. Ideal for long-term, archival packaging and storage. Use these treated sheets of acid-free and pH-neutral paper to wrap jewelry items or line gift boxes. These will greatly reduce tarnish and will ensure stylish, professional-looking packaging. This paper is buffered. A 3% calcium carbonate buffer is added. This buffering agent will help neutralize acids and prevent acid migration to the objects that the tissue is used to protect. This tissue extends the life of paper, most photographs, some textiles (cotton, linen or jute), artifacts, precious metals and jewelry.
