An original 1989 watercolour painting, Stanley Reece, Yellow Lampshade Poppy Flower (Meconopsis Integrifolia: Papaveraceae).This large and impressive watercolour is by the esteemed English engraver Stanley Reece (1932–c.2010). Dating from around 1989, it is thought to be a study of a plant at Kew Gardens, which Reece would later engrave onto copper-plates. The composition, with decorative calligraphy below, has a strong graphic quality as well as being finely painted and delicately coloured.In watercolour with graphite.All artworks come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
