Lid is optional and assists in gelling process. Our oil finish is made from special blend of oils and waxes, and it’s also made on site. It helps to maintain the surface of your mold and it helps to prevent it from staining. Care for your mold best you can, and it will serve you well. It allows on making about 30 soap bars without working in 30-inch long mold. It is also much easier to store. This is a wonderful mold for those who love standard size bars and need to make a lot of it.
