Stained Glass Soldering Iron, Hakko 503 Red. Includes stand-safety rest. Beginner & budget friendly. Well made & long lasting. The replaceable 3/16'' tip is a good size for copper foil projects. 60 watts, heats to 900F. Designed for Stained Glass, not for electronics soldering. This "Hakko Red" iron is the economy priced version in the Hakko line of tools. I do not recommend rheostats, or their extra cost. This Iron will work well for you as it is. Cool with damp sponge.
