Using Silberschnitt running pliers – glassartbylinda

This video shows how I cut the glass for my bowls, mats and coasters. If the glass is transparent, I can lay it over the pattern on a lightbox, and trace along the lines with the cutter. If it's opaque, I cut out the pattern pieces in cardboard as a template, and draw round them with a sharpie.
These running pliers have an adjustable head, which really helps to break the glass more accuratly
