Tear or cut to length. Peel off backing paper to expose the second sticky side. Position item and finger-press to secure. Sew pieces in place for a permanent hold.

Basting prevents problems with machine sewing and makes it a heck of a lot easier to sew seams, edges, etc. than using pins to hold your parts in place. To use, just stick the tape along your edge, cut off the length required, then simply pull off the Mylar film, fold your edge over and presto! Your edge is fastened and ready to sew!!!.
