The MLIS (Multi-Layer Inlay System) by Tarter Woodworking is an easy-to-use, one-of-a-kind solution for creating complex inlays on your next woodworking project. Using your plunge router and our Brass Inlay Kit, simply rout along the cutouts on each numbered stencil included in each MLIS set to cut out the inlay piece. Then install the included collar on the bushing and rout out the recess for the inlay using the same stencil. It's that easy. Original Designs. Each template in the MLIS set is made of long-lasting, clear acrylic manufactured with CNC precision. Accurate and Easy to Use. Each MLIS set is engineered with ease of use in mind. The laser-engraved markings ensure precise alignment, especially when used with our MLIS Positioning Plates. We also strongly recommend using our Double-Sided Adhesive tape to secure the wood blanks and templates when using the Multi-Layer Inlay System. Quality Control.
