Auto Foam is the result of extensive in-house research and development, by the meticulous team at Bilt Hamber. Auto-Foam is a new generation, premium quality, foaming water-based pre wash treatment, designed to soak and saturate soiled vehicle paintwork prior to the application of shampoo through the two bucket method. Seasoned snow foam users, love Bilt Hamber's Auto-Foam for it's exceptional panel dwell, which lasts typically for 5 minutes.

Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam is made with biodegradable compounds, is extraordinarily tough on soil and grime, yet harmless to paint, its non-caustic formulation ensures that even regular use will not attack paint binders. The hard working surfactants in the forumla will attack and penetrate the hardest of road dirt and grime, without the need for manual intervention.

During the panel dwell period, auto-foam’s bubbles will systematically burst and move, encouraging soaking and cleansing agents to start working. The effects of road grime are neutralised by them, by being bonded within the blend of surfactants, and then lifted from painted surfaces and physically removed, minimising harm caused by swirling and marking during subsequent detailing.

When its work has been done, Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam may be washed off in a conventional manner, leaving a well presented automotive surface, perfectly ready for further detailing.

Our wheels are under constant bombardment from hot particles such as brake dust and filings from the road. These can effectively bond with the lacquer on the wheel and instigate a build up of dirt. Whilst more traditionally used acid or alkaline-based wheel cleaners are effective they can attack lacquer and paint finishes if misused or left to dwell for too long - not ideal on an expensive alloy wheel!

Bilt Hamber Auto-Wheel works like an acid based cleaner but without the risk, it actively shrinks dirt and contaminant particles allowing them to be released from the surrounding lacquer but without causing causing damage to the wheel finish in the process. What is Tar and Iron?

Iron and tar staining is common on nearly all UK vehicles from braking pads and disks that when hot travel in the air and embed themselves on your paintwork. You will be able to feel it after you've washed your car by running your hands over the paintwork, the rough grittiness you'll notice is metallic particles that have embedded themselves on your paintwork?

You may not have noticed by looking at your paintwork, but next time it’s washed and clean lightly feel the paintwork, especially the horizontal panels; bonnet, boot lid, roof etc. Very gently with finger tip touch you’ll be able to feel a rough grittiness. You may well think this is dust landed from the air – it’s not.

They can be quite damaging if unattended on paintwork, as they can corrode paintwork affecting the protective and aesthetic qualities of the vehicle.

Why use Bilt Hamber Korrosol?

Well the effective formula of Korrosol can simply be sprayed onto contaminated panels and wheels. From here a rapid and dramatic change of colour takes place, indicating the the reaction with the embedded metallic particles is taking place. No further agitation is required, simply spray on the the affected are, wait for the colour change then rinse off with water after about 5 minutes.

As it says nicely in the title, this might be the perfect glass cleaner! When Gtechniq formulated G6 Perfect Glass the focus was very much on function and function only.
