Select Cutting Compound Description: Removes scratches and nibs on repaired or original painted surfaces. Abrasive crystals break down during buffing cycle creating refined polishing agents for a high gloss. The easy-to-use water-based, low solvent formula provides an extended buffing window with limited dust and residue for easy clean-up. And it’s silicone-free making it safe for body shop applications. How to use: Shake bottle before use. Sand surface to P1000 or finer then wipe clean. Using only a small amount in each area, polish with a Car Brite polishing pad at a low speed for 10 seconds exerting increased pressure while tilting the buffer. With light pressure, polish area with flat pad for 20-40 seconds. Remove any residue with a clean, microfiber towel. For great results: Polish with Car Brite SELECT Polish and seal with Car Brite SELECT Sealer Wax 2. How to use: Shake bottle before use. Sand or compound surface to P2000 or finer then wipe clean. Using only a small amount in each area, polish with a Car Brite polishing pad at a low speed for 30 seconds and maximum pressure (10 lbs.) while tilting the buffer. With light pressure (2 lbs.), polish area with flat pad for up to 2 minutes. Remove any residue with a clean, microfiber towel. For great results: Seal with Car Brite SELECT Sealer Wax 3. Select Sealer Wax Description: Produces a protective barrier and deep, lustrous gloss to painted surfaces. A blend of silicone, carnauba wax and mild abrasives work together to remove light imperfections while protecting against the adhesions of bird droppings, grime and water spots. How to use: Shake bottle before use. Ensure surface is clean and free of deposits. Use a Car Brite Paint Correction Wash Mitt to remove embedded contaminants. Using only a small amount in each area, apply product evenly with a moist bonnet and allow to dry to a haze.
