Sure, you can find other products that work a little faster, but we just don't believe it's worth the risk of exposing yourself, your employees and especially your customers and their children to the toxic and carcinogenic chemicals found in many of the most popular products on the market. Not only is Nock-Off safer, it works great AND you can actually afford to buy it! Nock-Off is VOC compliant, non-flammable and environmentally safe. It is highly effective in removing even the toughest and most durable industrial coatings such as urethanes and epoxies from surfaces like metal, wood, masonry, brick and especially concrete. Nock-Off even works great to remove the new, water-based, guaranteed to peel, garbage sold in the deck and fence stain aisle of your local home store! This will allow you to estimate the dwell time required for project completion, prove the ability of the stripper to remove coating, ensure substrate compatibility, and show most effective method of removal. Use only airless equipment with chemical resistance. A common medium size airless sprayer is capable of spraying this product. Equip the sprayer with a tip size of 0.02 inches or larger. (Examples: a 519 or a 425 tip). Cover any adjoining or nearby surfaces not intended to be stripped. Plastic sheeting works well as a protective barrier. Masking tape is not recommended since stripper can soak through the tape and damage painted surfaces behind it. Plants and vegetation should be covered and washed thoroughly with water before and after application. Mix thoroughly using a drill mixer. Mix Nock-Off until all product is uniform in color and of a creamy consistency. Do not shake to mix! Apply a thick, even layer of stripper onto the coating to be removed. An airless sprayer has shown to be the best means for application. Always start the sprayer pump at the lowest pressure setting, and slowly build up the pressure until the proper fan pattern has been generated. High pressure and narrow tip sizes will break the stripper's emulsion and affect its integrity. Nock-Off should be applied at approximately 2 times the thickness of the coating being removed.
