To mark their 100th anniversary, Narex has developed a line of chisels that are certainly some of the finest tools that this small, renowned Czech firm has ever produced. Combining premium materials with skilled workmanship, these are well-made chisels. The blades are made of chrome-vanadium steel, hardened to Rc61-63 and cryogenically treated to toughen the steel without making it brittle. They will take and hold a fine edge.

Narex mortise Chisels Set of 5

These chisels are manufactured by Narex of the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to 59 HRc. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section. Bevels are ground at a 25 degree angle. Handles are stained Hornbeam. Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and solid brass ferrules to withstand vigorous mallet work.
