DESCRIPTION Tokens give AA members a physical reminder to take sobriety one day at a time. These measure 8" long, 2" wide and 1/2" thick and will hold up to 13 coins. The clear and frosted models are made from acrylic. The black model is made from PVC. These materials were chosen for their durability. **Coins are not included with the chip holder purchase, the coins pictured are for display purposes only. You are getting a coin/chip holder only.** DESCRIPTION The recovery journey can be challenging at times, but it has a rewarding aspect that is hard to beat. Made in Durham, NC these recovery themed projects are created to help inspire others. All projects are made in small batches so we can pay attention to detail and focus on quality. All of the text is engraved using a computer controlled router using designs that were designed by TJ. Once the project is engraved it then gets sanded, drilled, finished and inspected. After the order has been placed each project gets carefully prepared for shipping. Though we are not currently personalizing or taking custom orders, we welcome any suggestions to help plan future products. They have two golden retrievers that add to the chaos the two boys already administer :) TJ has struggled with addiction for several years and found that working with other alcoholics is essential to staying on the path of recovery. He started Honesty Road in early recovery realizing that there are not a lot of sober activities and the path to recovery can be a very lonely and sad place. He found building these signs and creating new projects gave him a direction. He began donating them to local recovery houses and found the recovery messages on the signs helped others stay positive. He then took it a step further and started offering workshops helping others to build their own woodworking project. This is how Honesty Road became a real-life recovery tool. TJ is very happy to be a part of and to help spread the message that recovery is possible with the help of others. ABOUT HONESTY ROAD Honesty Road is an organization dedicated to serving individuals and families recovering from the disease of alcoholism. We teach others how to build recovery themed woodworking projects through the workshops we offer. Honesty Road allows individuals to come and work with their own two hands creating recovery gifts. This sober activity gives people the opportunity to work with others, problem solve, be creative and have fun. We donate our projects to different sober living houses, charities, non-profits, rehabilitation facilities and individuals.
