M-10 Achilles Model Vehicle by Tamiya. This is a Tamiya model replica of the British Achilles tank destroyer. The Achilles was a modification of the M10s which Britain received from the U.S., with the original 3-inch main gun replaced by the fearsome British 17 pounder. The vast majority of M10s were the M10 IIC variant, which was based upon the late-production M10 with distinctive enlarged turret-rear counterweight.

The Achilles is a tank destroyer that replaced the main gun of the M10, which was lend-leased from the United States to the United Kingdom during World War II, with the Ordnance QF 17-pounder gun. The Achilles was deployed in the Normandy landing operation in June 1944, and was later deployed to British Commonwealth forces such as the Canadian and Polish forces, and was active on the Western and Italian fronts until the end of the war.
