It is recommended to use painters tape to keep this stencil firmly in place on a flat surface and a flush fit to avoid any bleeding or overspray. This 20mil mylar material is perfect for larger details, big logos and larger format stencils. If you need a smaller detailed logo we recommend purchasing the 10mil material for smaller detailed logo stencils. The 10mil is actually more durable, has more flex, and lays flatter with small details. The 20mil is heavier weight, making it great for custom lettering stencils and custom sign stencils.
