CS18 - Traditional Chinese Ink, Silver Black Silver Black is a dense black ink with silver powder suspension. The black outlines silver on rice paper; the effect is more subtle on other papers. Specifically made for Chinese art techniques, but suitable for all ink work, painting, drawing and calligraphy. Fade-resistant and water re-soluble. Chinese inks produce slightly cooler tones than Japanese inks. Convenient lid design with an easy pour cap allows for more control and fewer spills. Bottle contains 180 ml (approximately 6.1 oz) ink, and comes boxed. Dimensions: 2 7/32” x 1 1/2” x 5 15/16” Weight: 8.3 oz Usage tips: For best use, shake well and vigorously before pouring the ink out of the bottle. You should hear the mixing balls shaking inside of the bottle; these disperse the metallic pigment throughout the ink. Expires 5 years from their production date. Bottle has a sticker with the expiration date on the bottom. Use on absorbent washi (rice papers) for strongest metallic effect.
