GRAY STAINLESS BUFFING COMPOUND - 1 POUND BAR

Benchmark Abrasives Gray Stainless Buffing Compound are MADE IN USA. Cut and color compound used to restore the natural luster of ferrous metals. Excellent for coloring stainless and other steels, chromium or nickel plate when a mild cut is required. Often used as a one-step product. This gray polishing compound is formulated especially for white color hard metals, like stainless steel, white gold, platinum, and works with sterling silver.

Buffing Compounds can be used for smoothing and shining metals, plastic, wood, and other materials. These compounds are made by a mixture of fine abrasive fillers and a sort of greasy wax. We have different colors of Buffing Compounds for coloring, creating luster polishing, and more. A high-quality buffing compound rids your vehicle of scratches and minor flaws. The buffing compound is used for finishing various applications such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastic, and wood. It helps remove a small paint layer to get rid of minor cracks.

Safety Tips/techniques:

• Bring the compound to a spinning buffing wheel to melt the compound onto the buffing wheel.
• Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
