One of the most beautiful bamboo needles I have knitted with. Their needle tips are deliciously sharp, and the bamboo feels amazing on the hands. The 16" Dark Bamboo Fixed Circular Knitting Needles are high-quality and have fantastic joins and pliable, clear nylon cables. They have a nickel-plated, copper join that guarantees smoothness. Sizes 3 (3.25 mm) and larger are crimped to guarantee no separation, and they swivel! The smaller sizes, US 0 (2 mm) through US 2.5 (3 mm), have the same memory-free cable as the ChiaoGoo RED circulars and TWIST cables! Needle size is permanently laser imprinted on each circular. Bamboo circulars are available in the patina color only. Details Care Instructions Important Info WHY WE LOVE IT — Incredibly lightweight, strong birchwood, natural, artisanal, design that prevent stitch slippage and ensures effortless movement of yarn CONTENT — 100% Birch Wood High-quality wooden needles will naturally become slicker with use (from the lanolin in wool and oil from knitters’ hands). If needed, it is a good idea to clean with muslin or shammy. I do not recommend using beeswax since I have not personally tested this theory on these products; therefore, cannot say with certainty that it works or that it will not damage the hooks. I also suggest to keep them in their case when you are not using them, out of extreme temperatures and direct sunlight - too much heat will make the smooth finish dull. Lastly, I also do not advise using any lotions on your hands while using the hooks - certain chemicals react with the wood, causing the finish to become dull very quickly. CONTENT — 100% Birch Wood

High-quality wooden needles will naturally become slicker with use (from the lanolin in wool and oil from knitters’ hands). If needed, it is a good idea to clean with muslin or shammy. I do not recommend using beeswax since I have not personally tested this theory on these products; therefore, cannot say with certainty that it works or that it will not damage the hooks.
