Less harsh than pumice based cleansers! A fantastic alternative to lava or pumice soaps, and is just as effective without wrecking your hands. Our charcoal mechanic soap is an effective cleanser that will not be too drying to your skin. I use activated bamboo charcoal which is much less abrasive than a pumice soap, and have started making this batch with concentrated Orange oil as well. I personally love the charcoal soaps, and my dude uses it after working on his truck. It cleans grease wonderfully without being as evil as lava soap. He's thrown motorcycle chain filth and truck filth at it and says that it took it off on the first pass, and wasn't as abrasive as most of the other stuff I was splitting wood, and got pine sap all over my hands. It took two passes and the sap was completely gone. The bar produces very tiny, dense bubbles. so tiny that it seems like you're just applying some weird, grey lotion to your hands, but I promise you they are tiny bubbles. Wet the bar thoroughly for best results. What ingredients did you use?
