British Yarns — Loop Knitting
Loop has the most beautiful and eclectic collection of incredible British yarns. It's like being at a yarn fair! Hand-dyed yarns from independent dyers as well as the big guns.

Most lovely Shetland yarn. Loop has over 175 colours!

We have so many beautiful colours we can't list them all on one page so we've split them by colour groups. Let us know if you need any help choosing!

A 2 Ply Jumper yarn that knits up like 4 Ply. This yarn is traditionally used for Fairisle knitting. The colour range allows immense potential to play with colour.

New to Loop! We're totally crazy about this yarn!

Knit by Numbers is an exciting range of 100% organically farmed Falklands Merino in a DK weight yarn.  The innovative colour palette aims to provide the precise shade required. Each colour range is available in several shades – going from dark to light, and each colour is given a unique number reference, rather than a name, hence the range being called Knit By Numbers.

Another beauty from Eden Cottage yarns. We have a new colour this Winter; Dusk (it's beautiful!)

These are not hand-dyed like all of the other Eden Cottage Yarns that we stock, but they have achieved a very similar palette that is so distinct to Eden Cottage!
This yarn is so light to wear, and yet lovely and warm and hardwearing, with gorgeous, rich depth of colour and a beautiful sheen from the silk. It's great for a really wide range of projects, and being machine washable makes it a bit more practical.
Loop stocks all 20 colours!

Just arrived!

Zakami's Baby Suri Alpaca + Mulberry Silk Lace is the newest yarn to grace our shelves.  We love it's incredibly soft and silky feel and stunning hand-dyed colour. Perfect for a luxurious and light garment or accessory!

Zakami Yarns is a small-batch hand-dyed yarn company based in the UK. We are thrilled to have their gorgeous yarns at Loop! They’ve created a really gorgeous special coral pink for us that is exclusive for Loop called “Sea Whip”. We adore it!

Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches and variations between skeins should be expected. Due to the individual nature of hand-dyed yarn, we would always recommend alternating skeins.

Titus Lace was formally called 'Theseus Lace' but it is the same exact yarn. So, if purchasing, some of your labels might say 'Theseus Lace' but, rest assured it is the same as 'Titus Lace'.

Beautiful British Lace yarn from Eden Cottage.

Merino and silk 2ply laceweight yarn, which is smooth, soft, shimmery and luxurious. One skein is enough to make most shawls.
Loop has 33 beautiful colours
including 2 new ones: Azaela and Pollen.

Strong and hardwearing, the merino is superwash treated (not that you should be machine washing your lace!) and the silk lends heaps of extra strength. It is superbly glossy, smooth, and soft.

Please note that as this is a hand-dyed yarn, each skein is unique. We recommend striping alternate skeins when using more than one in order to achieve a more natural gradation.
