There's an empty old red brick schoolhouse across the street from my studio space, with a rough-looking bell atop it that I've never heard rung.The rusty bell's simple form is so solid but also somewhat teasing in that its function is only implied visually. And yet I'm still drawn to it. The bell wall hanging is my little ode.

Each bell is sewn from 100% cotton braid (New England made from domestic cotton) with wood beads, hung on a heart-pine dowel.
