If you dislike the unstable plastic boards as much as I do and are looking for a sustainable alternative, you will be happy for many years to come with these wooden bead boards. The round circle grooves for the bracelets cover all common sizes and range from 20 cm diameter to 13 cm diameter. Additionally there are seven grooves with a length of 25 cm. This makes bracelets for men as easy to make as bracelets for children. The surface of these handmade wooden bead boards is pleasant to touch, does not attract lint and is easy to clean. The surface is treated with biological, cold-pressed linseed oil and can be wiped off at any time and re-oiled if necessary. All beading boards were designed and developed by myself and are carefully finished by my own hands. I also use these wooden beadboards in my workshops for designing and making jewelry bracelets. Especially when using gemstone beads, it becomes very easy with this accessory board. It is always a special pleasure for the participants to work with it. The grey plastic bead boards have always bothered me. They are light and cheap, but also made of plastic, unstable and not very attractive. They are usually too small for creating and knotting individual yoga malas for the Japa meditation, because the necklaces with 108 beads easily reach a length of 100 cm and more. As you usually sit in front of such a beading board for several hours in a very very sensual and meditative process, it is nice to work with a natural material like naturally treated wood instead of plastic. In my workshops I like to photograph the participants at work and document their process. Another reason why the plastic boards have always bothered me: in the pictures the usually look inferior and the beautiful malas made of semi-precious stones and gold or silver pearls do appear come out as well as they could with a wooden beading board. Eventually, the development of an own small "collection" of malaboards and wooden bracelet boards was the logical consequence. These beading boards boards are durable, dimensionally stable and pleasant to touch. This wooden beading board is not only meant for the creation of individual yoga malas, but can of course also be used for normal necklaces or bracelets.
