Designed by Stockholm-based Allon Libermann and Hye Jin Ahn for gift and home accessories brand Areaware, the Aluminum Ruler features an ingenious and clever design. Made of lightweight aluminum, the ruler boasts black lines that mark both whole and half numbers. Curves link the sections that make up a whole number and change their inflection halfway between two numbers to enhance legibility. Red dots mark the large integers to make the process of measurement easier. The ruler features both inch and centimeter units of measure. Finally, a hole at the top allows the user to hang the ruler on a hook to keep it on display and easily accessible.
