Homogenization: After combining the phases, continue stirring or homogenizing the mixture using a hand blender or a high-shear mixer to further promote emulsion formation and stability. Ensure that the temperature remains within the recommended range. Cooling: Allow the emulsion to cool down while continuing to stir gently. As the emulsion cools, it will start to thicken. Optional Ingredients: You can incorporate additional water-soluble or oil-soluble ingredients, such as fragrance oils, essential oils, preservatives, or botanical extracts, during the cooling phase. Ensure compatibility and stability of these additives. pH Adjustment: Check the pH of the emulsion using a pH meter or pH test strips. If necessary, adjust the pH to the desired range using a suitable pH adjuster.
